Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is addressing the media on the Centre’s economic package to tackle the impact of coronavirus on businesses and livelihoods in the country.

The finance minister in her last press conference on Tuesday (March 24) had announced an extension of the deadline for filing income tax returns and waiving of cash withdrawal fee for ATM machines of other banks.

Sitharaman in her Tuesday’s press meet had hinted at an upcoming economic package to alleviate the situation arising out of the coronavirus crisis.
