Amitabh Bachchan's twitter account was hacked.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Monday night by Ayyildiz Tim, claiming to be a Turkish hacking group.

The group replaced Big B’s profile picture with a photo of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The bio was also changed to “Love Pakistan” with an emoji of the Turkish flag. The cover photo of Bachchans account, which was subsequently deleted, showed the promo picture of the hacker group with an eagle in flight.

The first tweet at 11:40 pm after being hacked, read “This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behaviors of Iceland republic towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the big Cyber attack here. As Ayyldz Tim Turkish Cyber Army,” The group also tweeted the link of its official Instagram page with a caption,”We are waiting for your support.”

A Mumbai Police spokesperson said that they have informed the cyber unit of Maharashtra and the matter is being investigated.

The same group had previously hacked Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher. The Twitter account was restored within half-an-hour.
