ABCD actor Kishore Shetty arrested for possession of drugs

Popular dancer and choreographer Kishore Shetty, who is known for his role in the Hindi film ABCD, was arrested on Saturday by the Mangaluru police for allegedly transporting drugs.

Popular dancer and choreographer Kishore Shetty, who is known for his role in the Hindi film ABCD, was arrested on Saturday (September 19) by the Mangaluru police for allegedly transporting drugs.

According to The New Indian Express, sources from the Mangaluru police department said he had brought the drugs from Mumbai to Mangaluru and was attempting to sell them in the city.

The police have also arrested Aqeel Nausheel (28) who reportedly had methylene dioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) in his possession.

The police have seized MDMA, a Bajaj Discover bike, and two mobile phones from the duo, according to India Today.

An official from Mangaluru commissioner told The New Indian Express that Kishore and Nausheel will be booked under th Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for drug peddling and consumption of drugs. An FIR has also been being registered.

Mangaluru City police commissioner Vikash is likely to hold a press conference later after the formalities for arrest are carried out.
