4.7-magnitude quake hits Rajasthan, Haryana; tremors felt in Delhi-NCR
A medium-intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.7 jolted Alwar district in Rajasthan on Friday, tremors of which were felt in parts of north India including Delhi-NCR, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 60 km southwest of Haryana’s Gurgaon, according to the agency.
The NCS also said the earthquake in Rajasthan occurred at 7 p.m. at a depth of 35 kilometres.
Tremors of the earthquake were also felt in Delhi-NCR, triggering panic among people. There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property.
People took to social media to report the tremors felt in and around Delhi.
