The world’s richest man and Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Sunday (April 24) posted a cryptic tweet that garnered a lot of attention on the microblogging platform.

In recent times, Musk’s bid to buy Twitter for $43 billion has generated a lot of interest around the world. Musk, who is the largest shareholder of the social media company with a 9.2% stake, had suggested a lot of changes be brought to Twitter.

The Twitter board adopted a “poison pill” strategy in response to Musk’s 100% takeover bid of the company.

“Board salary will be $0 if my bid succeeds, so that’s ~$3M/year saved right there,” Musk had tweeted in response to a user’s post criticising the board.

A self-described “free speech absolutist”, Musk has been critical of Twitter’s policies.

Now, on Sunday, he posted a cryptic tweet that read “Moving on …”

This post instantly received a lot of replies with many asking the SpaceX CEO was it about his Twitter bid. So far, the tweet has been liked by more than 1.3 lakh Twitter users.

One of the netizens commented, “Looks like the PR stunt to buy Twitter is over? Is he going to dump his shares on Monday, crashing the price?”

Another user asked whether he was going to buy Instagram? “to buy Instagram??”
