Kharge slams Centre over 'special' Parliament session

"No consultation done to call special session of Parliament. They didn't convene special session when Manipur was burning, when Covid happened, when China grabbed our territory, when demonetisation happened, but for some unstated reason they have called a special session now," says the Congress chief.

Resolution of INDIA parties

Resolution of INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) parties to jointly contest the forthcoming elections to the Lok Sabha

"We, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together as far as possible. Seat-sharing arrangements in different states will be initiated immediately and concluded at the earliest in a collaborative spirit of give-and-take.

"We, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to organize public rallies at the earliest in different parts of the country on issues of public concern and importance.

"We, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to coordinate our respective communications and media strategies and campaigns with the theme Judega Bharat, Jiteega India in different languages.

"Judega Bharat ('India will be united')

"Jeetega India ('India will triumph')"

While the above is an election resolution, there appears to be a lack of consensus on the bloc's stand on caste census. A political resolution is yet to be decided on. Sources say further discussions are required for a nuanced stand on caste census nationally and caste surveys at the state level.
