Striking an accommodative tone, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has said the party is willing to give four seats to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in New Delhi.
Speaking for the first time on the Congress’ attempts at forming an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rahul tweeted, “Our doors are still open, but the clock is running out.”
“An alliance between the Congress and the AAP in Delhi would mean the rout of the BJP. The Congress is willing to give up four Delhi seats to the AAP to ensure this. But, Mr Kejriwal has done yet another U turn,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

There had been some stiff taking on both sides with Congress spokespersons and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal going on the offensive against one another.
