DMK-led alliance lists constituencies for allies for LS elections

The DMK-led alliance has put out a list detailing the seats that the party and its alliance partners will take while fielding candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The DMK will field candidates in Chennai- north, south, central, Sriperumbadur, Kancheepuram, Arakkonam, Vellore, Dharmapuri, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, Salem, Niligiris, Pollachi, Dindigul, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, and Tirunelveli.

The Congress will field candidates in Kanyakumari, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, Krishnagiri, Arani, Karur, Trichy, Theni, Thiruvalluvar, and Puducherry. The CPI will get Tiruppur and Nagapattinam and the CPI(M), Coimbatore and Madurai.

Another ally, the VCK, will field candidates in  Villupuram and Chidambaram. The IUML will contest from Ramanathapuram; the Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi from Nammakal; the IJK from Perambalur; and the MDMK from Erode.
