Hisar, Sep 28 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said stability is a far-fetched thing for the Congress because of its infighting and now everyone in the party is jostling among themselves to become chief minister in Haryana with "Bapu" (Bhupinder Singh Hooda) and "Beta" (Deepender Hooda) also the contenders.

Addressing a poll rally here, he recalled the days when he worked for the party organisation in Haryana and said, "I am fortunate that Haryana has given me a lot, taught me a lot." Haryana's mothers and sisters have given a slogan "Mahra Haryana-Non-stop Haryana" and Haryana's development should continue non-stop and that's why people have made up their mind to give chance for third time to BJP, Modi said.

From everywhere, one voice is heard -- "Bharosa dil se, BJP phir se", he said. Haryana goes to polls on October 5.

As voting day draws near, the Congress is falling, Modi said.

He said in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh, the Congress is escaping from promises they made to people.

People are now telling Congress "Kya Hua Tera Vada". Congress is asking people "Tum kaun".

"Delhi's royal family trapped people of Himachal in their lies. Today, they don't have budget to pay salaries and DA to employees in Himachal," he said attacking the Gandhi family.

Where there is Congress, stability can never come there, he said.

Taking on the Congress in Haryana over infighting in the state unit, Modi said, "the party which cannot bring unity among its leaders, how will they bring stability in a state".

You are seeing how in Congress here (in Haryana), they are jostling among themselves to become chief minister, he said.

"Bapu (Bhupinder Hooda) is also a contender and Beta (Deepender) is also a contender. And together both are engaged in (niptane mein lage hai) settling the others. And seeing all this, aware voters of Haryana are settling (niptane mein lage hai) the Congress," he said.

Modi also said some people who served Delhi's "royal family" with dedication are now asking what fault they have committed.

On every seat, there is infighting in the Congress. In this infighting, the doors for Dalits and backwards are closed. Congress knows that Dalits don't give them votes, therefore they hate the entire Dalit community, he alleged.

Modi said during the previous Hooda regime, atrocities on Dalits took place in Gohana, Mirchpur incident took place, there were atrocities and injustice with Dalit daughters, but Congress remained silent, he said in presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union minister M L Khattar, Kiran Choudhry, Kuldeep Bishnoi and other BJP leaders.

The atrocities which Congress has committed on Dalits, the Dalit samaj can never forget that, he said.

"Wherever I went in Haryana, I saw no one allows Congress to enter," he said.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi's recent remarks on reservation, Modi said Congress' royal family is saying they will end reservation of Dalits and backwards.

BJP is ensuring participation of all sections of society. Our Chief Minister Saini is moving forward taking everyone along. The name of official residence of the chief minister is 'Sant Kabir Kutir', he said.

Not only BJP extends support to the deprived sections but also gives wings to their dreams, Modi said.

Modi worships those whom no one cares about, he added.

Further attacking the Congress, he said it is such a big selfish party that it does not see anything beyond votes and always considered farmers as votebank. Congress always made farmers crave (tarsaya hai) for water whereas BJP is resolving their problems, he said.

Recalling that Rs 2 (crop damage) compensation cheques were handed over to farmers during Hooda government's time, Modi asked did they not feel ashamed in insulting Haryana's farmers and added under BJP government, over 10 crore farmers in country were getting Rs 6,000 under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

When Congress people talk to you about farmers, ask them why don't they implement something for farmers in Karnataka, Himachal, Telangana, he said.

In Karnataka, after Congress came to power, hundreds of farmers have committed suicide. The truth is, said Modi, "Congress desh k kissano ki jaan ki dushman hai)", he said.

The Congress spoke lies on MSP here in Haryana. Truth is BJP government is procuring 24 crops at MSP whereas two odd crops are procured by Congress-ruled states, the prime minister said.

"Can our farmers trust such a deceitful Congress," he asked the gathering.

People of Haryana only trust the BJP, he asserted.

Congress had done 'dohra vaar' on the state youth here, Modi said as he slammed the previous Congress government for indulging in corruption in government jobs.

The BJP gave jobs without 'Kharchi-parchi,' he said while speaking about the 10-year rule of his party in Haryana.

"This has perturbed the Congress and therefore Congress party's 'bharti roko gang' put brakes on giving jobs to youth," he said.

He asked the state youth to teach a lesson to the Congress party's 'bharti roko gang' in these elections so that it cannot "commit a sin" by putting a lock on their future.

Further slamming the opposition party, Modi said, "Congress not only indulges in 'loot khasoot' but also defends it shamelessly." "Under the Congress rule, 'dalalon' (middlemen) and 'damad' used to call the shots. I said this before the people of Haryana. If anybody had any regret or shame, he should have sought an apology from the people of Haryana." But the Congress people did not seek apology from you. They are shamelessly protecting 'dalalon' and 'damad', he said After being disappointed over such behaviour of the Congress, people of Haryana have now stood up against it, he said.

And now people are revealing their bad deeds (kacha chitha bahar nikal rahi hai), Modi said.

"You are also seeing how the new documents of scams committed during their tenure are coming out," he said.

People of Haryana can tolerate any wound but they cannot tolerate anything against the country, he said.

Calling the people of Haryana as fiercest patriots, Modi said, "you will have to remember the real face of the Congress. Today's Congress is in the clutches of 'urban naxals'." "Congress leaders go abroad and meet those people who speak the language of India's enemies," he said.

"Congress party's international partners are those who are hell bent on defaming India. Congress leaders abroad speak that language which the country's ill-wishers like," he said.

"You also wonder why Pakistan supports Congress? Pakistan likes policies of the Congress," he said.

He asked the people of Haryana to be wary of Congress' promises and intentions.

Modi said the Congress wanted to bring Article 370 back in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Congress again wants to support 'patharbazi' (stone-pelters) and 'bomb and bandook' (terrorism). Those stone pelters wounded the Haryana soldiers who were doing their duty there and now Congress wants to release such people," he said, "now tell me, who is with Urban Naxal Congress?" Why Haryana's farmers, youth and mothers and sisters will vote for Congress, he asked.

Dubbing the Congress as the "biggest communal party" in the country, Modi said Haryana is bearing the punishment of the Congress party's "communalism." For appeasement, Congress is promoting such a mentality because of which our daughters and sisters are being attacked, he said.

"You must have heard about the threat of a Congress MLA. He says if Congress wins, people will have to leave their houses. If this is the situation now. They have not got the power and there is no possibility of getting it but they are speaking about committing atrocities on people," he said.

"If such people get power, then one get goosebumps just thinking about what will happen," he said. "I will ask Haryana voters, do remember such threats, he said. PTI
