The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to destroy the Constitution and end the reservation given to tribals, Dalits, and backward classes, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday (May 15).

Addressing an election rally at Bolangir in Odisha, Rahul also claimed that if the BJP wins the Lok Sabha elections, it will privatise the public sector, and India will be run by 22 billionaires.

People’s government

“The BJP wants to tear this book but we in Congress and the people of India will not allow it,” he said, waving a copy of the Indian Constitution.

“If the BJP wins, the reservation will be scrapped, the public sector will be privatised, and the country will be run by 22 billionaires. That’s why the people’s government should be formed,” he added.
