Boxing: Narender Berwal reaches men's +92kg semi-final

Indian boxer Narender Berwal secured a decisive 5:0 victory over Iman Ramezanpourdelavar of IR Iran in the Men's +92kg quarter-final at the Asian Games 2023. Although the judges favoured the Iranian boxer in the first round, Narender displayed dominance in the following two rounds.

Berwal's win adds him to the list of assured boxing medalists at Hangzhou, following in the footsteps of Nikhat Zareen, Preeti Pawar, and Lovlina Borgohain. Additionally, the 28-year-old Indian boxer is just one victory away from securing an Olympic quota for India.
