The 26-year-old Indian grappler's stellar performance secured her a spot in the next round, where she is set to face off against Japan's Remina Yoshimoto, a two-time Asian Champion.

In another intense bout, Japanese wrestler Fujinami Akari achieved a victory by fall in the women's freestyle 53kg quarter-final against India's Antim Panghal. Notably, Antim Panghal, the 19-year-old Indian wrestler, had previously dominated her pre-quarterfinal match with an impressive 11-0 win against Uzbekistan's Jasmina Immaeva.
