Lionel Messi inspired Argentina to the FIFA World Cup 2022 title in Qatar on Sunday night (December 18). On way to the coveted trophy, Messi broke several World Cup records. In the final at the Lusail Stadium, Messi scored two goals and another in a shootout as Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties (3-3 after extra time).
