The United Nations Security Council’s Counter-Terrorism Committee met in India for the first time in an attempt to pressure China to give up its opposition to taking action against the perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack of 2008, based in Pakistan. The symbolic meeting may have limited impact but it managed to revive the world’s attention on the attack.
