Kannada actor Bullet Prakash passes away due to liver failure
Actor Bullet Prakash, who has appeared in over 300 Kannada films in comic roles, died of liver and renal failure in Bengaluru on Monday (April 6).
The 44-year-old actor was admitted to a private hospital in the city on March 31 with complaints of infections in liver and kidney. On Monday morning, he was put on a ventilator, but remained to be critical, a press release from the hospital said.
Prakash played the lead role in Aithalakkadi movie that was released in 2010 and has acted as comedian in many films alongside popular actors like Sudeep and Puneeth Rajkumar.
In 2015, Prakash joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. He told The Hindu that he had chosen the saffron party as his mother was a BJP worker for more than 25 years.
