Hyderabad police busts drug party at 5-star hotel, children of actors, politicians, arrested
The Hyderabad Police arrested more than 142 people, including the children of actors and politicians, after they were allegedly found with cocaine and weed in the pub of a five-star hotel.
The task force team of the police busted a rave party at the pub of Radisson Blu hotel in Banjara Hills, which is supposedly owned by the daughter of a former MP from Khammam district, on Sunday.
Actor Naga Babu’s daughter, Niharika Konidela, who is also actor Chiranjeevi’s niece, is among the persons detained. Naga Babu had released a video later on Sunday, stating that his daughter has no association with drugs.
Another among the detained is singer Rahul Sipligunj, who was also the winner of third session of reality show Bigg Boss Telugu. Ironically, he had sung the theme song of Hyderabad police’s campaign against drugs, which was launched on February 12 this year.

Among others at the party were the son of an MP from the Telugu Desam Party and the daughter of a top policeman from Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana Congress leader Anjan Kumar Yadav, said that his son had gone to a birthday party and that “all sorts of lies and scandals” were being floated. He added that all pubs in the city should be closed.
The Station House Officer (SHO) at Banjara Hills Shiva Chandra has been suspended for negligence of duty by Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand. He has been replaced by K Nageshwar Rao from the task force.
