The function was to commemorate former Chief Minister and Congress leader K Karunakaran. The Congress changed its stance after Karunakaran’s son, K. Muraleedharan, MP, lashed out at the Governor saying he was trying to further the RSS-BJP agenda in the wake of the CAA protests.
The Governor tweeted that he was ready for a dialogue with those who aired voices of dissent.
