YSRCP set to sweep Andhra Pradesh
YSR Congress Party, headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, is set to sweep the elections in Andhra Pradesh, according to the prediction by the India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll.
Out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state, the YSRCP is set to bag 18-20 seats while the Telugu Desam Party, headed by N Chandrababu Naidu, is likely to bag four to six seats.
The two national parties — the BJP and the Congress— will draw a blank.
In the 175-member Assembly, the YSRCP is predicted to bag 130-135 seats and capture power while the TDP is likely to get 37-40 seats.
