The Delhi Police have been put on high alert after intelligence agencies warned about a probable terror threat to the national capital. Reports suggest that there were intelligence inputs about the possibility of four to five men entering Delhi with an intention of carrying out a terror attack.
The Delhi Police have been put on high alert after intelligence agencies warned about a probable terror threat to the national capital. Reports suggest that there were intelligence inputs about the possibility of four to five men from Jammu and Kashmir entering the national capital by road with an intention of carrying out a terror attack.
According to sources, all the 15 police districts have been put on high alert along with the elite units of the Crime Branch and the Special Cell. Vehicles with registrations plates from Kashmir are also being checked and an alert has been sounded at bus terminals and railway stations as well, reports said.

Special vigil is also being maintained on Delhi’s borders and a close watch is being kept in the market areas and hospitals, which are seeing a large influx of patients these days, the sources said. Security agencies are on heightened vigil in view of the India-China stand off in eastern Ladakh.
