Shubman Gill’s prolific 2023: Full list of Gill’s 8 centuries this year
The year 2023 so far has belonged to Shubman Gill as he is piling up the runs across the three formats – Test, One-Day and Twenty20. Friday (May 26) was yet another day when Gill produced a masterclass in IPL 2023.
Gujarat Titans’ (GT) opener Gill smashed his third century of IPL 2023 to carry his team to the final. Thanks to his sublime 60-ball 129, GT won by 62 runs in Qualifier 2 against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

Friday’s three-figure mark was Gill’s eighth century across formats in 2023. He has already set a unique record of scoring Test, ODI, T20I and IPL hundreds in a calendar year, which had not been achieved by any batter previously.
The 23-year-old Gill’s run-scoring spree in 2023 began on January 15 when he hit 116 against Sri Lanka in a ODI in Thiruvananthapuram. Since then he has not looked back, and the cricket world is now singing his praises.

After taking GT to IPL 2023 final, Gill will be hoping to deliver another big knock in the title clash on Sunday (May 28) against Chennai Super Kings and make it two trophies in a row for the Hardik Pandya-led side.
