KL Rahul hits record 152 not out; here are IPL’s top 10 individual scores

Delhi Capitals (DC) batter KL Rahul smashed 152 not out, the highest score by an Indian in the Indian Premier League (IPL), against Punjab Kings (PBKS), in an IPL 2026 match in Delhi on Saturday (April 25).

Opener Rahul’s 67-ball sensational knock contained 16 fours and nine sixes, and powered DC to a mammoth 264/2. Rahul, who was dropped on 18 by Shashank Singh, made the most of the chance.

He and Nitish Rana (91 off 44, 11 fours, 4 sixes) added a record 220 runs for the second wicket. This was Rahul’s sixth hundred in IPL. He reached his century in 47 balls and 150 in 66.

The Rahul-Rana partnership is the second-highest in the history of IPL. The highest is 229 between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers for Royal Challenges Bengaluru (RCB) against Gujarat Lions in 2016.

Rahul’s 152 not out is the third-highest individual score in IPL history, behind Chris Gayle’s 175 not out and Brendon McCullum’s 158 not out. They are the only three batters to have crossed 150 in IPL.

During the innings break, Rahul said, “I am obviously happy. I have taken a beating due to the heat, just need to hydrate and recover. So it's mixed emotions at the moment. I hope I don't cramp later on.
