Suryavanshi's 1st ball 6

It was a dream IPL debut for the left-handed Suryavanshi as he smashed his first ball for a six, off paceman Shardul Thakur.

Suryavanshi is only the 10th batter in IPL history to hit his first ball in IPL career for a six. His impressive debut saw him score a 20-ball 34 with two fours and three sixes. It took a superb stumping by LSG skipper Rishabh Pant off off-spinner Aiden Markram to end Suryavanshi's innings.

During last year’s IPL mega auction, Suryavanshi, at the time 13 years old, was bought by RR for Rs 1.1 crore. His base price was Rs 30 lakh.

RR are chasing 181 to win. Earlier, LSG posted 180/5 thanks to half-centuries from Markram and Ayush Badoni.
