RCB vs PBKS: Punjab opt to bowl in 14-over contest

Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl in a rain-shortened IPL 2025 game against hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Friday night (April 18).

The match will begin at 9:45 PM with 14 overs per side at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Earlier, rain had delayed the toss, and it took place at 9:30 PM.
PBKS made two changes, bringing back Marcus Stoinis and Harpreet Brar. Out-of-form Glenn Maxwell was dropped. RCB are unchanged.
As per the revised playing conditions, there will be four overs of Powerplay. Four bowlers can bowl a maximum of three overs each.
