SRH opener Abhishek Sharma smashed the fifth fastest century in the history of the IPL


Records tumbled on Saturday night (April 12) as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) chased down 246 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in an IPL 2025 match.

Abhishek Sharma’s record 141 off 55 balls (14 fours and 10 sixes) helped the hosts win by eight wickets and 10 balls to spare (247/2 in 18.3 overs). He and Travis Head (66, 37 balls, 9x4, 3x6) added 171 runs for the first wicket to set the perfect platform at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
