The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has decided to allocate disignated feeding spots for stray animals in the city. Lawyer and animal rights advocate Meet Ashar, who is also a member of the MCGM’s Animal Birth Control Committee, speaks to The Federal about how this recent decision will help reduce friction and avoid skirmishes between feeders and housing societies. The allocation is easier said than done, he says.
