Will hit Iran harder if US is attacked, warns Trump
The United States President Donald Trump on Saturday (January 4) night warned that the US would hit Iran harder than ever before if Tehran retaliates to the assassination of one of its top generals.
Taking to Twitter, he said, “If they attack again, which I would strongly advise them not to do, we will hit them harder than they have ever been hit before!” Trump followed up with another tweet, saying the US would use its “brand new beautiful” military equipment “without hesitation” if the Iranians retaliate.

Pointing out that the United States had just spent two trillion dollars on military equipment, he said, “We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way… and without hesitation.”
Condemning the US airstrike, Mohsin Jawadi, Iran Minister, said, “We condemn it. Any such incident anywhere across globe must be condemned. We have been getting threats from US since years, we are facing it. We don’t have enmity with anyone, but if someone acts against us, we know how to respond.”
Earlier, he tweeted saying, the US is targeting 52 sites in Iran and will hit them “very fast and very hard” if the Islamic republic attacks American personnel or assets.
