We’re a family, Congress’ door is open for Pilot: Surjewala
Even as the political crisis in Rajasthan has intensified with Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot claiming to have enough MLAs to destabilize the Ashok Gehlot government, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Monday said the issues in the (Congress) family should be by sitting together and that the party’s doors are always open for Pilot and other members.
“If anyone is upset in family, they should find a solution by sitting with members of the family…On behalf of the Congress leadership, including Soniaji and Rahulji, I convey that doors of Congress party are always open for Sachin ji or any member,” ANI quoted him as saying.

“If anyone, be at any post or profile, has any problem, they must come forward and mention the issue on the party forum. We will work to resolve it together and keep our government intact in the state,” he added.

Surjewala’s comments come at a time when Pilot is lodged with his MLAs in Delhi after a fallout with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. While Gehlot has accused the BJP of trying to poach his MLAs and dismantle his government, there is no clarity on whether Pilot is joining the saffron party or not.
