Denying charges, Sanjay Singh, Rajya Sabha MP of the AAP, said, “Amit Shah is the Home Minister of the country at this time. Now just before elections, photos and conspiracies will be found. 3-4 days are left for the elections, BJP will do as much dirty politics as they can. What does having a picture with someone mean?”
Earlier this week, Gujjar opened fire at protesters at southeast Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh area where protests are being held against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). A court sent him to two-day police custody on Sunday (February 2).
This was the second shooting incident reported in Delhi in a week. A man had fired from a pistol on a group of anti-CAA protesters in Jamia Nagar on January 30, injuring a student of the Jamia Millia Islamia University.
