Kangana, Daljit Dosanjh in Twitter spat over farmers’ protest
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and actor-singer Daljit Dosanjh were involved in ugly Twitter exchanges on Thursday (December 3) after the former had misidentified an elderly woman at farmers’ protest over Centre’s new farm laws.

On Wednesday (December 2), Kangana had misidentified Mahinder Kaur as Bilkis Bano of Shaheen Bagh protests and said she had joined the protest for ₹100. The actress later deleted the tweet after several users, including Dosanjh, slammed her.
The war of words continued on Thursday as well, as Kangana hit out at Dosanjh calling him filmmaker Karan Johar’s “pet”.

Kangana, in another tweet, said, “I had only commented on Shaheen Baag dadi cos they instigated riots there even that tweet was deleted almost immediately, I don’t know from where they brought another elderly lady in to the picture and now endlessly spreading lies.Vultures trying to instigate mob against a woman (sic).”

Mahinder and others at the protest spoke to BBC and said Kangana should work in the fields and for that they would give the actress ₹100. “We will give her ₹100 in the evening,” a woman said in the interview.
According to reports, a legal notice has been sent to Kangana over her tweet on the elderly woman. Advocate Harkam Singh, in his notice, has demanded an apology from her.
“It is to inform you that the said lady is not a fake lady. Her name is Mahinder Kaur and she belongs to Bathinda. She is the wife of farmer Labh Singh Nambardar. She in her life, has always remained connected with fields and filed work and she is the wife of a farmer,” the notice said.
