Jawan, terrorist killed in encounter in J&K's Pulwama
A security personnel and a militant were killed and two other soldiers injured in an early morning encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Tuesday (July 7).
According to reports, the encounter occurred during a joint security operation carried out by the CRPF’s 183 Battalion, Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles unit and Jammu and Kashmir Police at 5.30 am.

Visuals released by ANI showed security personnel combing an area in Pulwama where the slain terrorist was holed up.
According to NDTV, almost 48 terrorists have been killed in last month in a series of encounters.
Last week, security personnel shot down a terrorist who had killed a CRPF jawan and a six-year-old boy in Anantnag on June 26.
