Talking about the tremors, an official of the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said that the tremor was recorded at 8:13 pm.

The earthquake was felt in cities such as Kutch, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Patan, where many people rushed out of their homes. The epicentre was located around 13 kilometres north-north east from Bhachau in the Kutch district.

So far, no damage to property or life has been reported. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had an immediate discussion with the collectors of Patan, Rajkot, and Kutch districts following the tremors.
