The company offers refurbished and used two-wheelers to consumers, and aims to cater to the servicing sector as well. Sasidhar Nandigam, Chief Strategy Officer, CredR said that the brand, from being a full-stack used two-wheeler brand, it was moving into two-wheeler servicing.
Due to social distancing norms, bike ownership is on the rise. Amid this period, doorstep delivery is expected to be beneficial for the firm.
The new service, ‘CredR Care’ allows a customer to book a servicing package according to their bike model, and select from a range of convenient dates and time slots in order to schedule doorstep servicing.
The two-wheeler industry in India is said to be lagging behind when it comes to organised online bike maintenance services, despite good growth. Bike owners still appear to prefer roadside garages to get their vehicles serviced, spending ₹200-400 at one go.
