Microblogging site Twitter has flagged as "disputed" a post by US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump on the election night.

In his tweet, the Republican accused his Democrat challenger Joe Biden of “trying to steal the election”. “We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!” said Trump.

Twitter flagged it saying: “Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process.”
In another tweet minutes earlier, Trump had said, “I will be making a statement tonight. A big WIN!”
Meanwhile, Biden, in his election night address to his supporters, said, “Keep the faith! We are going to win this.”
