Suicide bombers behind Sri Lanka blasts identified: CNN-News 18 Report
Zahran Hashim and Abu Mohammed have been identified as the suicide bombers behind the Sri Lankan bomb blasts that occurred earlier this morning (April 21), a report in CNN-News 18 said. More details could not be ascertained and their connection to any terror outfit could not be established.
They are suspected of attacking the Shangri La Hotel, Colombo and the Batticaloa Church.
Over 150 are feared dead and 400 people have been injured in a series of blasts across Sri Lanka since the morning of April 21. Three hotels and three churches were attacked.
Meanwhile, several countries and celebrities have condemned the attack. Several Sri Lankan citizens have thronged the hospitals to donate blood for the victims.
