World Cup warm-up match: India vs England contest abandoned due to rain in Guwahati
India's second and final practice match is against The Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3.
The ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up match between India and England was abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled in Guwahati on Saturday (September 30).
India had won the toss and elected to bat but rain played spoilsport and the match was eventually called off by the umpires at the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Stadium.
The 10-team World Cup starts on October 5. Ahead of the tournament, teams are playing warm-up games. India's second and final practice match is against The Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3.
