Say goodbye to lenses: Here comes eye drops to cure your vision

Forget lenses and surgeries; you can soon correct your vision using these drops developed by the researchers at the Bar-Ilan University of Israel.

While it is widely believed that 70 per cent of the cases of vision problems among the youth results due to the usage of electronic devices, UNAM Global says this effective alternative will help improve the problem.

The nano drops will correct the refractive index of the cornea, a change in which results in myopia and hyperopia. One of the benefits of this treatment is that anyone will be able to use this.

This system can be used through a mobile phone application, which will help the user measure his eyesight and the deficiencies in his vision. Then, he can connect a laser device to another mobile application which will send laser pulses into his eyes and create a mark in the spaces that requires correction.

Thereafter, the user needs to apply this eye drop containing nano particles of non-toxic proteins, in the marked parts. The method is still in an experimental phase and will be tested on humans next year.
