DMK chief Stalin calls on CM Palaniswami, condoles demise of latter's mother

DMK president M K Stalin wasamong those who visited Chief Minister K Palaniswami here onMonday to convey condolences over the death of the lattersmother recently.

Ministers including D Jayakumar, C Vijayabaskar, andKadambur Raju, Judges of the Madras High Court, Justices SVaidyanathan and V M Velumani called on Palaniswami.

Stalin, also the leader of opposition in the Assembly, DMKleaders Duraimurugan and K Pondumudi visited the chiefminister at his official Greenways Road residence.

MLAs and senior officials including chairman, centralpollution control board, Shiv Das Meena, additional chiefsecretary, Vikram Kapoor and celebrities from the filmindustry also visited.

They paid floral tributes to a portrait of Palaniswamismother Davusayammal, who died on October 13 at Salem at theage of 93, and conveyed their condolences to the chiefminister.
