The movie begins with police interrogation of, Masillamani (Parthiban) for his suspected involvement in a recent murder case. The accused, who is mentally disturbed due to various reasons, confesses.
Throughout the movie, there are voices that speak in the background. The whole movie has been shot in a very small space, a police station. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 has also been cut down in its duration.
The movie essentially narrates the bonding between a father and his son.
Without showing any other character’s face, Parthiban as a director has tried to hold the attention of the audience with his narratives even as he brings about a twist at the fag end. The film has eliminated the usual ritualistic scenes such as the introduction of a hero, heroine, romantic numbers etc. The flawless acting of the characters too contribute to the success of the film.
