AR Rahman visits Blessy-Prithviraj's Aadujeevitham sets in Jordan
In a rare gesture, music maestro AR Rahman has visited the sets of Malayalam director Blessy’s Aadujeevitham (Goat Days) which is being shot at Wadi Rum in Jordan.
The composer returns to Malayalam cinema after a long gap with Aadujeevitham, starring Prithviraj.
A source close to the production unit says, “A R Rahman rarely visits film sets. He took time off his busy schedule to visit mostly because he was so keen to learn about the location and its ambience. Music is a vital aspect of Aadujeevitham and that is why he was so eager to visit the locales. We were all very excited by his gesture.”
The film is an adaption of the award-winning, best-selling novel by the same name, Aadujeevitham by Malayalam writer Benyamin. The film has Prithviraj playing Najeeb, an immigrant worker from Kerala, struggling in the Gulf.
The crew will shoot in Jordan for another two weeks.
