Thanks for standing up to protect India's soul: Prashant tells Delhites

With early trends indicating a clear win for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly elections, political strategist Prashant Kishor on Tuesday (February 11) congratulated the people of Delhi for “standing up to protect the soul of India!”.

Kishor who posted the congratulatory message on Twitter, had strategised the poll agenda of the AAP this year.

“Thank you Delhi for standing up to protect the soul of India!” he tweeted.

Having also worked as an election strategist for the JD(U) in the Bihar elections, Kishor recently parted ways with the party after falling out with chief minister Nitish Kumar over the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and National Register of Citizens.

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has also conveyed her wishes to Kejriwal.

“I have congratulated Arvind Kejriwal. People have rejected the BJP. Only development will work, CAA, NRC and NPR will be rejected,” ANI quoted her as saying.
