Daughter gets mother killed in Jaipur over government job, property dispute
A Jaipur woman was allegedly murdered in a Rs 7 lakh contract killing orchestrated by her daughter over a government job and property dispute, police said
She wanted her mother’s government job and was involved in a property dispute with her for the past two to three years. So she allegedly conspired with her uncle and cousin to eliminate her and hired a contract killer for Rs 7 lakh. As per the plan, she got her mother rammed by an SUV, killing her on the spot.
Victim rammed by SUV
The murder took place on July 3 when the victim, Neeraj Sharma, was rammed by a Scorpio at high speeds in Jaipur's Pratap Nagar area.
According to an India Today report, police arrested seven people in relation to the case, including the victim’s daughter Ayushi Sharma, her uncle Mohan Swaroop and other conspirators Mohit Sharma, Akash Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Hemant Sharma and Rohit Jatav in connection with the case.

The report further stated that Ayushi's cousin, Balram alias Ravi, who, according to police, was a key conspirator in the case, is absconding.
The investigators said that the incident took place when Neeraj was returning home after dropping her son at a coaching centre, when suddenly a Scorpio rammed her at 130 km per hour, flinging her 100 feet into the air and killing her on the spot. After the incident, the driver of the vehicle fled from the scene.
CCTV exposes plot
Police said that during examination of CCTV footage from the area, they found evidence which suggested it was not an accident but a planned murder, following which the investigation revealed that it was plotted by the victim’s family members and was executed by contract killers.

Elaborating further, DCP East Ranjita Sharma said Neeraj's husband passed away about a year ago, following which she was granted a compassionate appointment and joined as an LDC.
According to police, Ayushi wanted the government job following her father’s death, but Nereraj took up the appointment. This, along with the property dispute, led Ayushi to conspire with her uncle Mohan Swaroop and cousin Balram alias Ravi to eliminate her mother.
Movement tracked
Police said on the day of the murder (July 3), the accused closely tracked the victim’s movement. While one of them, Mohit Sharma, relayed her location, another, Rohit Jatav, was stationed nearby on a motorcycle.
While one of the contract killers, Akash Sharma, was driving the Scorpio and another, Arvind Sharma, was travelling with him, the vehicle struck Neeraj. After the murder, the accused abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot.

Neeraj's brother, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, who informed the police, told investigators that previously she had received death threats and was being harassed by her daughter and members of her in-laws' family over a property-related matter.
Ayushi reportedly told the police during interrogation that she wanted the government job after her father’s death, but her mother took it instead. So she conspired to kill her to get the job and the family property.
