Chennai man arrested for sexually abusing minor he met on social media
Police said the accused took the 16-year-old girl to a secluded agricultural field near Old Nallur and was arrested within an hour of the complaint
A minor girl (16) was allegedly "sexually abused" by a man who had befriended her through social media. Police said on Saturday (September 26) that the accused (19) took the victim to a secluded spot and committed the crime.
Investigators further revealed that the accused was arrested within an hour of receiving the complaint.
The accused allegedly took the girl to an agricultural field near Old Nallur in suburban Chennai and sexually abused her, Tambaram police said.
