Bhuvaneswari takes up cudgels on behalf of hubby Chandrababu Naidu, embarks on bus yatra

Naravaripalle (AP), Oct 25 (PTI) Jailed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife N Bhuvaneswari on Wednesday kickstarted her ‘Nijam Gelavali’ (truth shall triumph) bus tour in protest against her husband’s alleged illegal arrest in connection with the AP Skill Development Corporation scam and to reach out to people.

As part of the yatra, Bhuvaneswari will visit families of those who reportedly died of shock after hearing about the arrest of former CM Naidu across the state and console them.

Paying a floral tribute to her father and TDP founder N T Rama Rao’s statue at Naravaripalle village in Chittoor district, Bhuvaneswari began her tour.

Later, she visited the family of A Praveen Reddy in Chandragiri who died on October 17 due to agony caused by the TDP supremo’s alleged unjust incarceration.

Bhuvaneswari consoled Reddy’s mother and offered strong moral support to their family in this difficult hour, including a financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh.

Naidu was arrested on September 9 for allegedly misappropriating funds from the Skill Development Corporation, which resulted in a purported loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state exchequer. PTI STH ROH
