The Zonal office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids and seizures at 17 premises owned by the directors and promoters of Amrit Group of companies in Kolkata and Indore in connection with alleged financial irregularities.
The raids, according to sources, are being conducted at properties owned by KC Dujari, Kali Kishore Bagchi and others linked to the group.
ED alleges the group and its directors collected huge sums of money from the public through several deposit schemes by promising high returns, but failed to deliver the promised returns.
