Subway India trolls Pakistan after its loss to Afghanistan in World Cup match

Following Pakistan’s defeat in Monday’s ICC World Cup match against Afghanistan, Subway India took to its official Twitter handle and trolled the team.

Taking to the microblogging site, the fast food chain shared screenshots of its chat with Subway Pakistan. One can see how it has sent a few memes in the screenshots. This came in as the Babar Azam-led side won the toss, opted to bat first and managed to put up a score of 282 for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. However, Afghanistan successfully chased down the target with an over and 8 wickets to spare to register a famous win.

The meme has garnered a lot of traction on social media, registering more than 183K views. “SUBWAY INDIA GOT NO CHILLS,” commented a Twitter user. Another person wrote, “Subway se order karna padega ab.” Many people also responded with laughing emojis as they retweeted the post. A lot of people also responded with memes.

Meanwhile, this loss has adversely hit Pakistani team’s prospects of making it to the semifinal at the end of the group stage as they are at No. 5 on the table, having won just two of their five matches and conceding defeats in the other three.
