PM Modi in UAE: India ready to extend all possible support for peace in West Asia
PM Modi pledges 'shoulder-to-shoulder' support for UAE's security while securing critical energy and defense pacts amid rising West Asia tensions
The impact of war in the West Asia region is seen across the world today, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the UAE.
In his delegation-level talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, PM Narendra Modi said, "The impact of war in the West Asia region is seen across the world today. India has always given importance to dialogue and diplomacy for resolving issues. It is our biggest priority is that Hormuz remains free and open. In this regard, it is essential to abide by international laws."
"India also stands shoulder-to-shoulder with UAE in every situation, and it will continue to do so. For the restoration of peace and stability, India will extend all possible cooperation," he added.

Here are the major agreements and investment decisions announced today:
Agreement on Framework for the Strategic Defence Partnership between India and UAE
MoU on Strategic Petroleum Reserves
Agreement on supplies of Liquified Petroleum gas (LPG).
MoU on setting up Ship Repair Cluster at Vadinar.
Investment worth 5 billion US dollars was announced in Indian Infrastructure, RBL Bank and Samman Capital.
