Thug Life cameraman Ravi K Chandran on jury of EnergaCamerimage Festival

Veteran cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is the first Indian to be on the jury of the world-famous EnergaCamerimage Festival being held in Torun, Poland from November 11 to 18.
The cinematographer is known for his work in films like Kannathil Muthamittal, Black, My Name is Khan and many more. Chandran will also be representing the Indian Society of Cinematographers, ISC at the festival. Meanwhile, the teaser of 'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam starring Kamal Haasan was released recently and its visuals by Ravi K Chandran have attracted a lot of attention.
Camerimage is an internationally renowned festival that concentrates on the art of cinematography. The festival has a reputation for being extremely exclusive in its nomination and is considered on par, if not more prestigious than The Academy Awards by filmmakers around the world. Unlike the Oscars, Camerimage has very specific award categories which proves it's dedication to the art of film making.
In 2010, Ravi K Chandran was the first Indian cinematographer to be nominated for the Golden Frog by EnergaCamerimage for his work in My Name is Khan. The festival has previously invited the likes of Darren Aronofsky, Roger Deakins, Ralph Fiennes and more.
