Yediyurappa urges Telangana voters not to trust Congress ‘lies’
"The party has hoodwinked the people in Karnataka after winning the elections as its government has failed to implement the guarantee schemes," he said
BJP leader BS Yediyurappa on Wednesday (November 22) accused the Congress of not implementing its pre-election guarantees in Karnataka and asked Telangana’s voters not to believe the party’s “lies and empty promises”.
The former Karnataka chief minister told the media in Hyderabad that the Congress was touting its ‘Karnataka model’ as the Congress election model in Telangana and other states.
"The party has, in fact, hoodwinked the people in Karnataka after winning the elections as its government has failed to implement the guarantee schemes," he added.
"The Congress manifesto includes six guarantee schemes only to cheat the voters of the state. I request the people of Telangana not to get cheated by Congress party's lies and empty promises," he said.
