Cheaper LPG, support to women: Congress poll promises in Rajasthan

The Congress on Wednesday (October 25) announced two "guarantees" if the party retains power in Rajasthan — cooking gas cylinder at Rs 500 to 1.05 crore families and Rs 10,000 per annum to the female head of a family.
Addressing a Congress campaign rally in Jhunjhunu, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the annual aid will be provided to women under the “Grah Laxmi Guarantee".
He also said 1.05 crore families will get LPG cylinders at Rs 500 if the Congress forms a government again in the state.
Voting for the 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan will be held on November 25. The votes will be counted on December 3.
