OPS meets World Bank officials to discuss funding for various state projects

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who is currently on an official tour to the United States, on Wednesday (November 13) met the World Bank officials and discussed funding for various projects in Tamil Nadu, the state government said on Thursday (November 14).

“Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam held discussions at the World Bank (head quarters) in Washington DC on November 13 regarding various funding for schemes related to drinking water, housing and transport in Tamil Nadu,” an official release said.

The official release said that Panneerselvam was accompanied by Principal Finance Secretary S Krishnan.

Panneerselvam holds several portfolios like Finance, Rural Housing, Housing Development among others.
